I’ve made 3 or for really short, really silly movies with my kids (now 5 and 2yr old) and it’s very fun. I used a pretty basic digital camcoreder, firewired the shoot to my computer, and used Studio 9 to edit it all. They are only like 5 min long each… but on the last one (Goldielox and the 3 Bears) we actually had a scene board – so we shot all the scenes with the bowls of poridge at the same time, and in editing I reorganized the whole thing. It was pretty easy and very rewarding.
