Experiment with creating online 3-D images 12 months ago

I’m now in Japan (supposed to be vacation). My latest interest is trying to create online 3D images…

Hopefully the following won’t give you motion sickness, but don’t they look 3-D?

I’ll put the second one as a comment as I think two on the same page will definitely give you motion sickness.

I may redo it, but here it is for now:

PS. I am not sure what speed computer you should have to be able to get the maximum effect from this… If the images are not flickering fast enough, then you may not be getting the whole effect. I may need to move the second photo somewhere else if it is causing the first image to slow down…

By accident I did it! The picture is really bad, blurred and ugly, and it does make one sick very quickly, but it works!

Just kidding… When I showed this to someone in Japan, they thought it was a bit scary because this scene is a burial place at a temple…

By the way, one of th designers at work is from Japan. She just returned from her country after a 3 week vacation. I would love to visit Japan.
