celebrate Mom & Dad's 50th (read all 6 entries…)
So, I've been chosen 12 months ago

to do the speech at the anniversary. I think I’ll be talking about each of my sibling’s special memories of Mom & Dad and then talking about what they did over the years to make home as special as it was. I’m nervous about it, but I hope I can do a good job and make Mom & Dad feel good about all they’ve done for the family.

I am sure you will say exactly the right thing at the reunion and make your parents proud. You are so lucky to have both of them and I know that you realize that.

I know I'm lucky

and I try to appreciate that the best I can. They know I love them and I let them know every time I talk to them. So this is my big chance to prove my point. :)
