move to my own place (read all 13 entries…)
am finding it really very irritating that 17 months ago

my roommate has taken to forwarding advertisements for apartments for rent and rooms for rent that are in completely far away places that i have no desire to move to. Not to mention that some of them are temporary situations only.

but one must breathe and not assume the worst.

oh let me clarify

i know what she’s trying to tell me…

in fact we’ve talked quite openly about a moving time frame…

but what bothers me about her forwards is not that she’s trying to be “helpful” but that she is sending me crap advertisements…

edit: so by “not assume the worst” i mean that i must not assume that she’s sending me crap ads on purpose… that she’s not so low as to just send me crap… and that rather it’s just a matter of not remembering what is important to me in a place

she’s just clueless, and insensitive. I’m so sorry you have to deal with a stressful situation at home. Even when you know it’s temporary, it’s draining.

Hope you have some place to decompress or let your guard down.

I hope you find the ideal, peaceful, nourishing, affordable, and safe housing situation soon.
