Step number one in financial security was to get a job. I’ve done this and it is off my list. Now, I am paying off debt. I’m getting there but it is a slow process. If all goes to plan, I’ll be debt free in three months. I’ve already socked away a minor “safety net” you know, enough to cover my rent for a few months or bail someone out of jail or replace a tooth if I slip on a sidewalk. That said, to me financially secure would be like a third of my annual salary in a MMA…we’ll get there.
