First timer 18 months ago

Okay so I’m almost five weeks pregnant for the first time. I don’t know what to expect and my hubby and I have decided to wait until our first ultrasound to tell our families. Today, I’ve decided not to look up things on the internet since it makes me completely crazy. I’m really nervous since I know the first few weeks are the most vital. I guess the worry starts now and will go on forever, huh?

Congratulations!!!!! Hopefully you have an easy and not so queasy first few months. Your first ultrasound should be scheduled around 10-12 weeks let us know how it goes, and good luck :)

Thanks for commenting on my entry! It is fun to share the news with someone (even if I don’t know you!) So far I’ve had barely any symptoms so I went in yesterday to make sure my hcg levels were doubling.. and they are (from 427 to 8000 in a week) :-) So maybe I’ll be lucky and not get too queasy.. ha. We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks. Hope you’re feeling good and congrats on having your first boy!!!!!

Hi!

So far, I feel good.. but I’ll feel even better in 4 weeks when my first trimester is done. We saw the babies heart beat last week so that was fun! How far along are you? Have you thought of any good names for your boy?
