OMG!!!.... 12 months ago

went the mountains yesterday, 4 wheeled the back roads, got stuck in the mud, had some people over for a party last night…etc…

I really have no idea where the time went after 2 AM…the next thing I remember was during a conversation we noticed that the sun was coming up…

I guess I held my own with a bunch of 20 somethings…LOL!!!...

I'm on vacation next week :)

And the week and a half after that will be devoted to moving.

Really, that's interesting

they shared my kind of interests (which can be as varied as the weather in Duluth)? That’s cool.

I wore out a couple of 20 year olds who wanted to try checking out their first historical reenactment. By Saturday afternoon they were walking zombies. (nevermind the fact that I spent most of yesterday sleeping)

Here I thought

it would have been the young ladies pictured that would have been interested in all that cool stuff. Of course that would have been rare too. I presently know a small group of college aged folks that have peaked an interst in aspects of living history. It is a mixed group. We are presently planning a few primitive canoe trips out to the wilderness. The plan is to even go in period dress with black powder guns, and camp voyageur style (as in the picture – the pic is of a typical “canoe camp” and is of a reenactor friend of mine). We also plan to put up a wigwam or wickiup, at sites we like and would like to come back to at a later date.

The two lads who came with to my last rendezvous are a part of that group.
