When describing the experience, one person from the mission last year said “In Africa, nobody was crying over the color of their shirt.” ....implying that they have more real concerns and don’t let the little things bother them.
Now that I’m going there, I realize I am exactly the type of person who can see tragedy in the color of the shirt.
I’m hoping this won’t be a problem :-)
