So the kids and I are in our favourite local grocery store when eldest starts fidgeting…”Do you have to go to the bathroom?”...”No”, she replies.

We pay for our groceries and leave the store and walk about 300m to a Dollar Store and begin picking up a few things…fidgeting starts again….”Let’s go find a bathroom.”....”No Mommy, I don’t have to go!”
3 minutes pass…..”Mommy….” “Yes dear.”....”Mommy, I have to go to the bathroom really badly!”

We leave our basket and run back to the grocery store, go up the elevator to where the bathroom is (it’s a single one – only one toilet in one room) but a lady is just before us sauntering in her snakeskin high heels and long nails while talking on her cell phone. She can clearly see that my little girl is doing the pee-pee dance but still slowly proceeds into the bathroom and locks the door – all while talking on her cell phone!

We can still hear her in there talking away…I’m not sure if she multi-tasked while she was in there but, whatever…she was in there a long time! We waited but when we couldn’t wait any longer we snuck into the men’s room (when it became free) before there was an accident….thank goodness men pee quicker than most females!
