move to Canada

Are my expectations too high?  — 1 month ago

I’ve never visited Canada personally but I feel compelled that life there will be better than here in the United Kingdom. Once I graduate I would like to make it my personal mission to permantly relocate there.

Am I being irrational as I have never visited there before?

Comments:

No you are not being irrational! – it is certain possible to move. This is 2008 after all, and people are free to cross boundaries and barriers as they so choose. Not to mention that Canada is friendly, pleasant, absolutely stunningly beautiful and diverse in people and sights. I used to live there and plan on a future move back as well. There is truly no place like Canada. However, before you pack up your bags, of course you should visit. I wouldn’t recommend anyone move anywhere without first securing a job or a livelihood, and visiting longterm to make sure it is a place you can picture yourself living. Bon chance!

Shargal is wanting to meet Canadians! (not to date)

Hey! I’m wanting to move to Canada too and I’ve never been there. My family wants to get out of George Bush land. Our country is ruined and it’s scary and I want my family to escape. An adventure would be pretty awesome too. We do plan to visit first.
