is

this book good?
may i ask, what draws you towards the books you choose? do they have common topics, themes or issues?
any titles you think i should look out for?

(by the way, i rode my bike to the station, instead of catching the bus, and i thought of you… you are now my bike person :P)

tiger in the well.

thus far i have enjoyed the series. i had preconceived notions that it would be effeminate and light but phillip pullman does a great job at embodying the grimy underground of 1880’s london. there is a lot of action, along with the minute details of a good mystery.

i select my reads based on the similarity of authors; there styles and content often overlap. from that point i read the majority of the author works, at which content starts to diverge; i don’t typically read mystery.

although, an underlying theme that is consistent within my selected readings is the female lead encompassing considerable resolve. i find the alternative perspective capturing.

on the opposition, i am also currently reading fight club; a story with strong masculine connotations.

(i am glad you rode your bike; ride on.)
