why do i only care about the presidents with the local people affect my life in a more direct and obvious way?

and every presidential election that i have voted in my guy has lost. maybe in local elections i have a higher chance of winning.

All politics is local

Local elections are just as important as national. It’s the only time truly local issues are dealt with.

yup. i completely realize that. i’m actively involved in my local community. but the moment that the actual election day comes i seem to completely forget what i’m doing.
the hype of the media pressure for national elections helps to remind me.
