If you haven’t read the No.1 Lady’s Detective Agency books by Alexander McCall Smith, you are in for a treat. VERY witty, a modern Pride and Prejudice set in Botswana. An easy read—take one with you as you commute to school/work (Unless you are the driver!) ANYHOW, the protagonist drinks bush tea with great ceremony at tea breaks around the clock. Bush tea is Roibos and I have taken to drinking it because I LOVE the books!

i actually have read it, and liked it too. i read it as soon as it came out because i used to live in Gaberone when i was younger! so i thought id have to check that book out!its good tea too, isnt it!? its one of those things to have when you arent sure what you want!

Traveling to Botswana is something I have wanted to do ever since reading EVERY book in the McCall Smith series. Someday I will get there. In the meantime, I love his 44 Scotland St. series as well, so maybe someday I will get to Edinburgh. Have you lived there as well?
