A couple nights ago I had a dream that would make an awesome NaNo story. So I took out my laptop and wrote a plot summary. I wish I could start writing now, but that would be cheating! :)
Most people I know either set out with a plan (a plot summary) or just try to wing it. Last year I came up with an idea at 7am on November 1st, lol.
