I took two years of Spanish in school over five years ago and haven’t studied it since. Now I’m dating a Mexican who’s helping me learn, and at times it’s really difficult. I want to do it because I know so many Spanish-speaking people and just to prove to myself that I can. My goal as of last year was to speak fluently by December 2008 but that’s a little unrealistic. I’ll shoot for a year or two from now.
