I’m not scared to be alone, but I’m happier with someone by my side to do play-by-plays and laugh with. I have beat myself up so much for this; I have told myself endlessly that I don’t need love and since I’m so smart I should be above all of that. I’ve met a girl who fits me well (and I know because I’m not trying to figure her out all the time but just enjoying her company, usually without the chorus of naysayers in my head and their associated mischief; that and my MySpace page has been the same for a month) and it’s a happy, comfortable bond.
