Improve my posture
learned something interesting

In high/middle class British families in the 1800’s-early 1900’s it was common for the eldest daughter (at least) to be sent to a finishing school, or to be mentored by a respectable older woman in order to learn how to conduct herself properly … This is relavent only because one of the methods used on these girls was to tie a board to their backs to improve their posture. While talking to my chiropractor I learnt that the same sentiment can help improve posture today … without the board. He (the doctor) told me to sit with my back flat/flush against the wall and my legs stretched out in front of me for at least half-an-hour every day. It isn’t hard, you can do it while watching tv, or whatever, and it actually helps, try it :)
