  • New music from afar! JoyJoyJoyJoy! Such delightful pools of sound to fall into. (Thank you Pippi/Ophelia! ~ XO)
  • A long visit with JoJo. She hung out with Isak at the library while I had my tooth fixed, then we had a couple of cold ones (after my mouth was unfrozen and I could sip things without drooling on myself). Later we all walked around the lake in the golden light.
  • Watching Isak boundlessly making friends at the park. He’s so bold and sweet about his friendliness. I wonder if I could meet new people as easily as smiling and handing them a stick?

Once again your sweet perspective has lifted my spirits. Today a bunch of republicans I don’t even know sent me e-mails basically telling me I am supporting the anti-christ by campaigning/ supporting Obama, oh yeah, and I’m a Marxist, and one more thing they questioned my Christianity for supporting a “nut” and a “liar” I thought about e-mailing back and correcting the spelling on liar, but I just rolled my eyes.

I’m glad if I lifted your spirits, and I’ll cheer your campaigning too. This is the first election I’ve ever voted in (and I’m doing it all the way from Canada). I wish more people took positive political action and am sorry you’re being virtually attacked.

The saddest thing of all

I am a republican. But after discovering I was apparently in league with the anti-christ yesterday I went to a weekly Obama meeting I host at Borders Bookstore, and met a gentlement who just switched from being a democrat to an independent. So I guess he and other republicans like us will bring about the holocaust by bringing the troops home from Iraq and adopting deplomacy over bomb, bomb, Iran…oh dopey us! LOL I really wish I could get Isak’s charm and give these rabbid people a stick for peace and common sense.
