exercise is something that i know that i have to do – but don’t – i try once in a while & pay a lot for the option to try once in a while but i really don’t enjoy it. just listen to the word…T-R-E-D-M-I-L-L! how on earth can a person make exercising enjoyable?

Ugh, I wouldn’t go near a treadmill. Who wants to use exercise equipment that is also a synonym for “boring routine”? I had success for quite a while with swimming and running, though. Hiking is good, depending on where you live. They say the thing is to keep looking into different physical activities, and try them alone or with friends, and in different places, until you find a way to exercise that is fun. Normal people just don’t persist in doing something unrewarding.
One of my friends is a big squash player. My husband likes to run and play racquet sports but despises swimming. I like swimming most, hiking second, then running, then rowing machine, and won’t go near racquet sports. Another friend wouldn’t use a rowing machine for anything and would probably never go running, but takes her toddler on backpacking trips, in a pack! You know she’s in shape. What I’m getting at is, what works for someone else won’t necessarily work for you, but you can probably still find your own way to enjoy exercise, maybe even with kids along. Good luck.
