I went on a detox diet where you don’t eat meat or sweets for two weeks. After two weeks I felt great, but I wanted meat. So I ate a hot dog and became very ill. My body couldn’t handle that animal protein. With this I realized just how bad meat is to your body; how you can live so much healthier without meat. I didn’t do it to “save the animals” I did it to become healthy, so now I am. My overall sense of wellbeing is improved.
