preferably, before I see the movie. It’s sitting on my shelf. I just have to pick it up and start…

Go read
I read it when I was about 10 (loved it) and have wanted to read it again as an adult but am slightly afraid I won´t like it as much as I did then – let me know what you think when you have read it.
Be my reading testmonkey :-) !
“reading testmonkey” I love it!
I must admit, I’m so bad about reading when I’m not in the mood to read..know what I mean? I read half of it while waiting downtown..and, yes..I could be reading the other half now.
I mean, I love reading myself to sleep.
Must. Finish. Book. It should be such a short read.
A worthy goal:
Strangely, a few months ago before I even knew the film was coming out, I had a sudden burning urge to read all the Narnia books again. I set about collecting them from various dinky little second-hand bookstores about the city and, when I finally had them all, read them in three nights. It was fantastic. It had occured to me that as an adult I might not feel the same way about them, but I was wrong. They were beautiful. And I honestly believe they are even better appreciated with years of living under your belt, because you appreciate the subtle themes and vivid creation all the more.
I am so glad that you found them just as enjoyable as before and more.
I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t be able to read them with as much imagination as I had in the past, but it has actually brought back some memories I made while reading the books in the first place.
And I can’t wait to jump into my favorites of the series, namely, The Horse and his Boy.
Great to hear
Have put the books on my wishlist for christmas. Hope you enjoy the last half too, Mostly Harmless.
