I just adore organic earrings. My ears always feel so much more healthy, and when they are playing up glass earrings just make it that much easier and faster to heal. Not to mention they are visually stunning and unique peaces
What size is your daughter going up to? Its really nice that you were both looking through the site together. My mother, although she no longer has the choice of deciding for me, has never understood why i feel the need to get pierced.
I think she still thinks its something im going to grow out of, or i should say.. something i should have grown out of in my early 20’s. Im sure there will be a point when i want to take them out but for now im more than happy.

I told her I have a limit with how high or is that low she can go while still young.
LOLOL I guess being a mother who is pierced and if I were not as old as I am, I would get more and one who sports her much loved tattoos. I’ve always told my children when they are old enough to be sure it’s what they want.
Today she was planning her tattoos and just went and redyed her hair shocking magenta red, it looks very pretty.
We found a lot of organic earrings that we like and want.

Do you prefer online shopping, or physical shopping?
For books I prefer going to the shop by far. I got lazy with Amazon when I first started using it but I then realised that it wasn’t always that cheap once the postage was included. Plus I had a couple of bad experiences, and I realised local stores were doing poorly because of on-line purchase. Now I’ve set up limits to how I use on-line shopping.I only buy English-language books on-line as these are not readily available here, or super expensive. But any French language book, I’ll buy or order from my local bookstore. And that’s a much nicer experience, I love browsing through book stores and since I’ve made a few orders I got to know the people at the local store and I enjoy that relationship.
But then again if tickets are involved I’d much rather buy it online rather than queue for hours only to get to a grumpy vendor who hates their job etc. So the answer is: it depends what it is I’m buying!
Have you ever purchased online? Yep…
What did you buy? Books and cds in the early days, but these days, it’s normally holiday-related stuff – the plane and TGV tickets, and the hotel bookings. I can’t remember the last time it wasn’t one of those things..
Where do you usually do your online shopping? Nowadays, it’s the likes of Aer Lingus / EasyJet / Ryanair for my flights. I’d have used Amazon and Play for the books and CDs.
Do you prefer online shopping, or “physical” shopping? Physical, I guess, when you look at how little I do online. Bookshops are special, there’s something different about them that a computer just can’t recreate.
Are there TGVs a little everywhere around western Europe? Or is it only around Paris?
I’m starting again to think about my future trip to Europe and traveling by train might be a good idea…
The TGVitself is a French thing – it’s a ‘train à grande vitesse’ after all :) There are other versions in other countries though.
It’s not just around Paris though -within France, Strasbourg, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Bordeaux are all connected up. Since many of the neighbouring countries have also developed their own high-speed train networks, you can also travel internationally. (When I was going to Strasbourg, the train’s final destination train was Zurich).
Yeah, I know what TGV means! But I didn’t know any English equivalent, so I asked it that way. ;)
So in a matter of fact, the train network system is well developped in Europe?
Because honestly, here, I would never travel by train. It’s long, boring, and we have to make something like 4 or 5 detours before we get to the destination we want.
I went once to a little town in the west of my region, where it usually takes between 1 and 2 hours to go by car. In train, it took 8 hours!
I’d say it’s pretty well developed on the European mainland, yep – certainly much better than in the UK and Ireland. It took 2 hrs 20 mins to get from Paris to Strasbourg, I’m told it would take over 4 hours for the same journey by car. The train apparently is capable of hitting over 330 miles per hour :)
Prefer on-line.
In 1999 I bought my truck on-line. At that time, dealers were not taking it serious enough. When I inquired about a truck, many would cease correspondence when they found I was out of state.
After negotiating and buying my truck in Pennsylvania, I made it a point to contact the sales managers of the companies that gave up the opportunity to sell a truck.

iamcarson is wondering when my "43 Things" became my "Life List"...
...that’s why I love online shopping. (I feel so naughty admitting that!).
My favorite site is campmor.com – in the US you usually get your order the next day and they have incredible deals on sporting/camping stuff. Especially sports watches and sunglasses. I also purchase a lot of travel stuff: flights and hotels.
I think it’s easier to BUY online (ie, when you know what you want and you just need to find it and purchase it) – but SHOPPING/BROWSING is more fun in a physical store.
