Worth doing!

I guess I'm a pretty lucky guy...  — 4 weeks ago

the old camera (a Canon PowerShot SD630) died (broken display sceen) just after my kids left DC.

Interestingly enough, the camera works, but there is no viewfinder or playback of the videos it records until I put the memory card into the Laptop. So, it might be a good “backup” camera, or one well suited for river rafting, etc.

Still, it’s time to replace it. It lasted a couple of years, and brought such joy to me, that it does not owe me any money.

Good.

It’s time to replace mine, too. It’s about three years old and, though it takes fine photos, the technology has outstripped mine, it’s larger than I’d like it to be, and for the same amount of money I can get a really decent camera.

But…not right now.

I'm looking at the SD750 for $179

at Best Buy. I have a gift card that I can apply to some of that, and it uses the same battery and chips and cables and software as my previous camera.

today i found the perfect camera pouch

for it.

it’s intended for the Polaroid PoGo, but it fits this camera well.
