While there will be more opportunities to meet me throughout the con, here are specific times and places where I will be stationed for easy access.

Thursday July 24
3:30-5:30pm Prism Booth #2148 in Hall C (behind the Sideshow Collectibles Booth, near the DC and Marvel booths)

Friday July 25
9:30-11:30am Legion World Booth #MZ19 (on the mezzanine level and I will be in costume)

1:30-3:30pm Prism Booth #2148 in Hall C again

3:45-5:15pm Legion World Booth #MZ19 again

Comments:

Jessica is catching up. Really.

I can't go

But my mommy works security there. Look for a tall, thin woman with long dark hair at the bag check area.
Have fun, Todd! And if you see a storm trooper, don’t call him a “storm whatever” like my young cousin did year before last. That really pisses them off!

Thanks

I’ve not been to this con in over a decade, but I do expect I’ll be having fun. I’ll definitely look for your mom. I’ll be asking all the tall thin women in the bag check area if they have a daughter Jessica. LOL.

Jessica is catching up. Really.

Do that

She works afternoons/evenings Thur. thru Sat. (She’s 60-something and may have cut her hair short, she does that sometimes in summer. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen her since last year, so I don’t know.)
Will you be in costume? Or should I just tell her to look for a squirrelly vampire dude? =)

Costume Friday

On Friday, I will be in costume as Star Boy, but the other days I’ll be a squirrelly vampire dude. I’ve got a couple squirrel t-shirts that I’m taking to wear (like the one that says “Global warming is bad for your nuts” and the other one with “squirrels gone wild”) but I’m not sure what I’m wearing on which day. Then there’s my shirt that says “I’m dating my hand”. That one’s always popular too. I’ve got one more shirt that I know I’m going to wear one of the days. I got it from the Boneyard Press guys at this con back in the mid-90s that reads “Marvel Can * My *”. Of course it has actual words, not the stars, but I’ll leave it to you to fill in the blanks. It’s not a shirt I’d want to expose your mom to. Haha.

I’ll be there. No costumes for me, but I’ll be with my wife and I’ll keep my eyes peeled. If I can’t make it to your booth on Friday I’m pretty much living at or around Ballroom 20 on Saturday.

Jessica is catching up. Really.

Cool costume

Make sure to get pix.
And don’t worry, you cannot shock my mom!
I’ll tell her to look for you.

Comic-Con

Sounds like fun…too bad I can’t go.

I’ll be going tomorrow. I have no idea where I’ll be, though. :P I’ll be volunteering for three hours, though. I may have something taped on me with my Gaia Online avatar and my screen name (teh darkcloud). But that all depends on weather or not I want to feel awkward. xD I’ve never been to a Con before.

I'll Look For You

I’m wandering around myself tomorrow other than the one shift at the Prism booth. Hopefully it won’t be as much of a madhouse as it was tonight.

Sweet

Prism seems interesting. I’ll try to stop by.

Aaand...

I did stop by. :D

It actually just sort of happened by chance. I was with friends and we were going down the aisle and I guess one of my friends wanted the free stuff. And I was like “Hey! This is the Prism booth!”

Coincidentally, you were the one telling us about the free stuff and I looked at your nametag and introduced myself.

I was at that booth earlier in the day and bought one of the LGBT Guide To Comics. :)

Thanks for stopping

A friend of mine is friends with the guy who runs the booth and said they were looking for volunteers so I agreed to help out. It was cool meeting you even if it was just by chance.
