My boyfriend and I generally share the same values, but nothing I’ve ever said about environmentalism or overconsumption has hit him as forcefully as seeing Wall•E.

The set up to the story is that Wall•E is one of the few creatures to survive on a depopulated Earth. His job is to clean up all of our garbage and he’s been doing it faithfully for 700 years…

My son (age 16) went to see this and said it was stupid. So I really had no idea what it was about. Thanks for telling me, I’ll definitely want to see it at some point!

We really enjoyed it

It’s Pixar doing what they do best. Totally captivating and thought provoking.

I saw the preview on some other Disney DVD I have. He’s some kind of robot / trash compactor that finds another calling of some kind.

It looks good to me.
