Eating with other people generally means I’m eating something more enjoyable & no doubt more nutritious than what I eat when I make my own meals (using the term “meals” rather loosely).

And conversation while eating makes the food go down better, somehow.

It’s embarassing if you dribble, otherwise ;)

Seriously, I just find it awkward trying to eat and hold a conversation at the same time.

I like to also cook more people than myself and then eat it with them.

As long as the company’s good.

I like to eat with other people if the company is good and I am comfortable with them – I don’t really like eating in front of people I don’t know. And I am probably going to eat considerably less if I am eating with others.

For a quiet evening, I can make my noodles and be happy. Then I also eat less.

However, sharing a good long meal with people is one of my favourite pastimes when it comes to spending an evening. It is the perfect opportunity to get into some real conversations without the embarrassment of the occasional dip in the conversation or anything. Also, you (I) don’t drink wine with the meal when I’m by myself. Another plus of eating together.

I like eating alone, and I like eating with people. I like eating.

But it’s annoying when you’re eating and whoever you’re with isn’t.

as long as im not the only one eating then i prefer with others. Just to get a bit of a convo going lol

I will go to restaurants alone- better to read, and I love having dinner parties both at my house, and in a restaurant.
