I wrote out my message and tied it with a ribbon. My bottle is ready to go. All I need to do is send it out to sea!

do to make sure the bottle is sealed enough to not let water in? I always wondering how to do that if I were to send a message out to sea.

well...

I was just planning on putting the cap on really tight and having a test run in some water. Then letting her go. If that doesn’t work, I’m up for ideas.
