I’ve sent out invites to more people but no one else has joined yet. I’m flying in tomorrow and driving down to San Diego. The time frame for the meet on Sunday the 27th is 4:30-5:00pm somewhere. Hopefully between ToddieM and CropTillDawn they can select a place for us to meet up with whomever else will join us.

I’ll be checking in to see if someone’s found somewhere for this meet to occur.

If you didn’t get an invite and are in the LA area and want to join us, please do. I don’t bite… at least not unless I’m asked, right Shelly?

... in crashing the party, that is, as I was not invited. LOL. Be that as it may, if you are also leaving out of LAX on Sunday, you may want to consider finding some place closer to the airport (though I can’t think of where specifically) like in Marina Del Rey or Hermosa Beach… just a thought…

Do you fly out of LAX?
What time?

I can work with this to help find a location.
I was thinking of the pier in Santa Monica. They just put in a new Ferris Wheel.

There are places much closer to LAX we can meet. I have never been to the Watts Towers. We would want to do that during the daylight hours only.

Redondo Pier has Tony’s with a piano bar with a view above the restaurant,also walking along the pier in interesting with the shops, people and tanks of live fish and crabs you can buy.

My car holds 8 so I can drive and park, making it easy to get down and park at the beach.

Yes, my flight out from LAX is around 9:20pm, and I’ll have to drop off my rental car too. So wherever you recommend works for me.

McSmarty just told me that he has to spend the day with his mom :P and his Aunt & brother aka McGiant( who I do like) I’m sure he will want the kids to go with him. They will be bored…Church and brunch zzzZZZzzz.

Or Santa Monica & Redondo Beach with LOL">MOMMY I almost fell when the DC metro took off and the only thing that kept me from hitting the floor was the pole you hold on to when my face ran right into it! Yep, I’m a crack up. All of the business commuters got a kick out of the dumb tourist as well. I was fine until McSmarty said,”Go sit down over there” I turned to look and the train took off making me lose my balance, which is not too great these days with the vertigo and all.

4:30-5:00

The best time to ensure I make it up from San Diego to start is 4:30 or 5:00. Let’s get a place settled by Saturday so that everyone knows where to go on Sunday.

It’s close to LAX.
We can walk around the peir and have dinner and drinks over looking the Pacific Ocean.
