I’m so glad I didn’t let my fear stop me from doing this. Everything went well. Because I’d been tested before and because of improvements that have been made, they were able to do the testing on my arms, and I was thrilled about that.
The doctor was very nice, too. Now I am fully equipped with eye drops, nose drops, inhalers, tablets, and even an emergency epinephrine syringe. I can start shots next week…and I am a candidate for rapid desensitization, where you get about six months’ worth of treatments in one day.
I am very appreciative of all the support and encouragement I’ve received from everyone here at 43T. :)
