I’m normally a resident of the UK but I moved to Vancouver for a year. No particular reason, other than my home country is depressing and I wanted somewhere new.

It’s a good confidence booster, for sure. Lots of people told me, “I could never do that!” and I wasn’t scared at all, which is unusual. Makes me feel like i’m not a total wuss, like I used to.

Everyone must do this at least once! It really broadens your perspectives on things, and shows you how huge and varied this wonderful world is.
