Come on, now. 2 months ago

This is ridiculous. It’s 3:48 am and I’m not even trying at this point. I really need some advice on how to fix this.

Okay. There are two things that are natural remedies (whatever) that you might want to try to get you started. The first is called ‘Calms’. It is a pill, but it is apparently natural. I found it in my local health food store, but now I’m seeing in my grocery store. There is a stronger version called ‘Calms Forte’. Also, Melatonin. Melatonin is a pill as well, but it is a naturally occurring chemical in the brain. Some people need a little extra. However, two more things. First, pills aren’t for everyone, and you might just want to try revising your diet or relaxation techniques. Secondly, always talk to your doctor before you start taking any supplements, such as Melatonin. Your doctor might also have some different ideas.

Oh-lest I forget-there are a couple things I have been told to do. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day, but not within 3 hours of bedtime. Don’t eat after 7pm, and get 15-30 minutes of sunlight per day. Cut back on caffeine and sugar, especially in the afternoon. Turn off the TV and computer at least 1 hour before bed, and if you can’t sleep, don’t stress about it. Think happy thoughts, read a calm book (no violence or excitement), and most importantly, don’t let your insomnia depress you—don’t give up! I wish you good luck with overcoming your insomnia; I know what it’s like. (Hope this comment wasn’t too long for you!)
