Well…it hasn’t been going that well. At the end of one interview, I was told that it seemed I might be too senior. The irony was that the job title had the word ‘senior’ in it! I was trying hard to be impressive at the interview (because isn’t that what you’re meant to do???) and it backfired.
But I am excited! I have come across the perfect job for me. It’s working in an area that I have a passion for and that I used to do quite a lot of work in a few years ago. They are looking for someone with my background, experience and skills. I have used one of my contacts and as a result, the manager has contacted me directly and we’re meeting for an informal coffee tomorrow. Please cross your fingers and toes for me because this is THE job. I know it.
