Had a bit of a bad experience yesterday. Only my second time of going to donate, went though the questions & iron levels test ok. Laid down waiting for the donation to start but the nurse that was doing the needle must have been doing something wrong because it started hurting & instantly came up with a big bruise. Had to stop and they said they wouldn’t try again because I didn’t feel too good after my last donation, so ended up not donating a single drop. My arm hurt non-stop for about 2 hours afterwards and I was still having problems moving and stretching it until the late evening. I would like to donate again another time but I was nervous enough to start with and this was very off-putting.
