Learn to live with MTS
MTS is a chronic, pervasive condition

that occurs when mutual forces of attraction are at their strongest simultaneously. With no buffer, and no alternate polarity to counteract the magnestism, the pull is nearly insurmountable, the generate heat intense. Physical proximity intensifies the condition, but geographic distance does not significantly decrease the intensity of symptoms. There is no cure, and palliative treatments to date have shown no promising results.

Insidious.

and fatal to a workday….

if i may, Mistress?

The subjective feeling that this syndrome engenders has been expressed musically. Imagine, if you will, the build-up to the final chord of the Beatles’ A Day In The Life.

And the inevitable collision of galaxies when that geographic distance is eventualy overcome… listen! it slowly builds… Also Sprach Zarathustra.

followed by a familiar little ditty from Devo, and perhaps Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s sage advice ...

fatal indeed

A Staggering Rat of Heartbreaking Something or Other "Oor Ratty. Your Ratty. A'body's Ratty."

I shall

fly, meandering about the world, looking here, listening there, tasting this, sampling that…and perhaps this ultimate symphonic tumult will find me, for now that I know it exists (and I KNEW it did) why would one want to do without?
(except, perhaps to get a workday in here or there)

The only reason

One would want to fight the effects is out of pure necessity (the workday, the need for unadulterated concentration). Otherwise, I would willingly and blissfully give ito the wiles of its symptomology, and gratefully so, in fact.

As some unwittingly wise sloganeer once quipped, “Lead Me not into temptation, I can find it Myself.”

A Staggering Rat of Heartbreaking Something or Other "Oor Ratty. Your Ratty. A'body's Ratty."

Indeed,

(I think) in the workday of one in the pure arts, it would (I think) unlock a great deal of uncharted territory (I think).

But not on deadline (I know).

For one in the pure arts,

I have no doubt. However, the challenge of MTS is that it seeks to feed itself, to no other end but its own dual-pronged fulfillment. The challenge: to transfer that delicious, powerful energy to one’s art, one’s inspiration.

You are right, brilliant, creative Rat, there is, most definitely, no reconciliation of MTS with deadlines, timelines, or the walking of any other lines, for that matter.

May you harness the raw, tempestuous power of MTS and use it to your own accord.

I do believe, My servant,

you have captured this feeling in lyric, tone, and melody. Noting, of course, that Frankie’s sage advice can and will be overturned, if Mistress’ desires prove otherwise.

Noted, Mistress

One must, after all, have priorities.
