The way I see it, this goal has 6 phases:

1. Rip all the CDs in my CD book. (DONE)

2. Rip all the loose CDs I have. (Starting tonight?)

3. Re-rip stuff that was ripped as MP3, so that the new format theoretically has a slightly better sound.

4. Rate tunes for better sorting.

5. Back up files onto external drive.

6. Weed down CD collection as I rarely listen to actual CDs anymore anyways. (This is probably another goal entirely!)

So, I’ve started to make progress. I have a busy week or two ahead, but I think I’ll be able to keep up this project and complete it quickly!
