...he picked it up in about 10 minutes. I started him on the grass coasting down the hill just dangling his feet (so he could easily touch them down). Then I had to leave to take my daughter to an appt. and by the time I came back he was pedaling down the hill on the grass. He moved onto the pavement and although he has a little trouble getting started, he’s really pretty steady. He even was turning in little circles. My guess is he’ll have lots of fun in the next few days practicing his new fun skill! Which is when I’ll have to take some pictures because today happened so fast that I didn’t even take ONE!!

So I don’t think I can take credit for “teaching my son to ride a bike”, but I did get him started and he, with a little help from his big sister, taught himself.
