child inclusive 5 months ago

I recently heard this term when contemplating going to a seminar. They had a class called how to be child inclusive without being child centered. This is the term I’ve been searching for. I think it fits what we are trying to achieve in our lives. Last month we went to NYC and took SB to a Mets game with us. He loved it. The crowd, the crazy guy yelling behind us, the lights. He smiled and burst out with shrieks of laughter for an hour. Then he settled in the carrier snuggly and fell asleep. I loved that we weren’t limited to not going and that he enjoyed himself so much too. I hope to share many more memories like this while teaching him how to act appropriately in any situation, adult themed or kid friendly.
