Learn to Blog better (read all 3 entries…)
It's harder than I thought it would be

I’ve always like journalling and writing. However, when I started doing on online blog I felt very constrained and odd – I guess it’s the whole privacy idea. I want to share what’s going on but I think that it can’t be that interesting to anyone else or that it’s way to personal to share. I also want it to be interesting and have lots of cool visual stuff but I’m not really sure how to do all that.

kind of ini the same boat

I am also a journal writer, but the way I manage to handle writing a blog and my journal simultaneously is to compartmentalise…

...in the sense that I reserve certain subjects for blogging, and leave more private stuff for my journal…

so, for example, my sex life(or lack thereof) goes into my journal, whereas my views on race, life, etc go into the blog.

In order to get me blogging more seriously, I created another blog of me living in the city I’m living in, and my observations thereof, with piccies, whilst leaving my original blog for just musings, etc.
