sugar free challenge allow for two slices of birthday cake, one on Mr. Wren’s birthday and one on mine.
But I also reserve the right to eat no birthday cake at all!

whaddya mean by ‘sugar free’? Like, processed sugar or are you excluding natural sugar too (like fruit)?

A piece of fruit is perfectly fine for me.
that sounds like an awesome challenge to undertake, and one month is also such a do-able amount of time.
After posting my question I walked away to putter about the house, thinking about that task and thought “no problem, I don’t eat a lot of sugar stuff anymore”. But then before I knew it I wanted some irish cream in the coffee that I was having with a peanut butter/jelly sandwich.
The obvious stuff (like candy bars) would be kinda easy for me to give up, it’s the other stuff I don’t think of as sugar that will give me the hardest time.
This would tie in so well with the other heath goals I have going…. thank you for the inspiration, I think I’ll commit to doing this for October.
In the meantime I’ll be on the sidelines cheering YOU on!!

Yes, I found that taking it on for one month was not too overwhelming. Kind of like a trial period to see how it goes.
mahinui ever more at home
All sugars are not created equal (and Equal is not a valid sweetener, IMHO)
But agave makes a very nice sweetener, as does apple juice.
Sorry if I’m repeating a bunch of stuff already here – I confess I did not read through the entries in the goal….
