Been making short films sporadically since i was 18 now 23. I’m a proffessional actor and now want to turn my most enjoyable hobby into a living as well – making film.

alot of the time i, like im sure many of you do, find my motivation zapped with the worry of failing. The worry that once made, your creation will be disliked. I think its a hard truth to realise but people wont like your work. not all- but some. you cant please everyone i suppose so why not please yourself by doing the thing you love most?

dont let lack of technical skill stop you either – you are going to be working in a medium that has only come about in the last 100 years or so, we are all still pioneers and you learn the most by doing. Experiance is the best teacher.

Dont rest on your laurels either you need to attack everything with all the enthusiasm that brought you here.

i suppose im talking as much to myself as anyone on here.
