Funny Story behing this one...  — 3 weeks ago

so trying these darn strawberries again. I decided to use a colored bowl and plain water. However, this prove to be too transparent and no visual impact. hehehehe
So I took “grape Juice” out of the refrigerator. Can you guess what happened next?YEP!! grape juice over everthing, including me!!!
I cleaned up really quickly, giggling quietly, so my hubby and daughter do not catch me.

You remind me of Doc Edgerton

I heard him a few times telling stories of his flash photography adventures.

He is best known for his shots of bullets going through an apple, but he also has many photos of water.

He told one story where he figured out how to photograph a bat flying at night and got some great original photos of bats using their radar to fly at full speed in pitch blackness. So when he shows the photos, a students says, “It would be more interesting if the bat was catching a mosquito.” So he went back to the studio to figure out how to do that. And eventually he make a bug catapult that put the bug in exactly in the camera field of view and got that shot. Imagine how many bugs needed cleanup as he adjusted his catapult.

What about strawberries and cream (or milk).

Pixelfun Everything's good but taking a break!!

HAHA

I really am a funny sight to behold.
The water droplets are just one aspect of my photography but because I have the availability to do it indoors, I can work on it whenever I want.
Usually, it consists of me running back and forth through the house finding objects with themes I have in mind. My daughter looks at me like I’m crazy. At the end of a 1-2hour shoot, I have alot of dishes, bowls and “other” paraphanilia in a pile.
I have thought of milk (believe me), but I just can’t bring myself to waste it. Last night grape juice was a real last minute thought. hehe – see where that got me.
