organize my comic books (read all 3 entries…)
Where to start 4 years ago

Okay, so my bimonthly shipments from Westfield are sitting around my apartment mostly unopened, and there’s still the forty plus long boxes at my parents… maybe when I’m not working I’ll have the time to work on this.

That’s cool that you have two comic stores on your street. Growing up the nearest comic store was a half-hour drive away.

I’ve always been a DC kind of guy, though I do buy Marvel’s too. I’ve been enjoying some great Indie stuff lately as well.

Some titles I’m enjoying right now include Legion of Super-Heroes, Hellblazer, Losers, New Avengers, XIII, Dorothy, and Students Of The Unusual.

We have over

15,000 comic books sitting in our basement. My husband and I went through them all and put them in order…they are all bagged, boarded and cataloged. It took forever, but now we know what we (I use that term lightly…they are mostly his, I just read a few here and there!) have.

DH decided he couldn’t rightfully call it a collection if there was no order to it…now he has a comic book collection!

Good Luck with this one!

Straha is not a fan of Xmas shopping.

"it's a pain"

It really is a pain organizing stuff. My comics are (thankfully) confined to three long white boxes, with thirty or so scattered about. The comics are mainly Star Trek, Star Wars, NAM, Merc, G.I. Joe, and other assorted stuff.

I have 80,000 football cards that need to be organized cataloged, and put into sets. This means trading doubles, triples, and so on.

I feel your pain.
