JulieJordanScott is continually setting odd goals that need translation for many people
I am in Flagstaff visiting my parents. There is much to be grateful for indeed. I am on a hotel computer so I will limit this list only by my awareness that someone else is waiting for the computer!
I am grateful for the fantastic memories my children will carry with them from yesterday. My intent has always been that my children know my parents favorably. After spending the day with my Dad yesterday, I can say they all will hold those favorable memories.
I am grateful for the exploration around where John’s ashes have been buried. It is beautiful and brought back such memories of my childhood – there was one rock formation that reminded me so much of a place along the Delaware river.
I am grateful my children and I managed to encourage my Dad into a spot where he had never been before (too difficult to hike? Never!) great lesson.
I am grateful for the divine reminder to “look up” when geocaching. As always, I was rewarded.
I am grateful I have been able to upload my photos so that I can take more photos. Reminder to self: buy another memory card ASAP!
I am grateful to see Sam’s progress so profoundly and so… consistently on this trip. What a change in that little guy!
I am grateful Emma is in good spirits.
I am grateful for the funny side trip to Fenner and the memories made there.
I am flat out grateful.
