Learn Japanese (read all 2 entries…)
YEAH!

I am so happy! I just found out how to write my name in Japanese! lol Actually I just installed Japanese in my computer and started writing things I already know, like songs and small phrases. Yeah! Anyways… I’ll look into this Kanji thing casue I don’t even know what the difference is between hiragana and katakana. _

Comments:

Hi bushyhaired. Hiragana, Katakana, Romaji and Kanji are four ways to express japanese language. Hiragana is used for their native words, Katakana is used to write foreign words. Kanji are characters that could mean a word or a phrase, that is, they want to make life easire my sketching a character to mean “I drank tequila the whole night”, or something like that.. Romaji is their way to writing words using the Roman letters. Like “Watashi wa Shanak de su.” which means “I am Shanak.”

And oh, a japanese IT company taught me 4th level nihongo (japanese language) last year, in case you’re not convinced.

Shanak
