After setting up an account that wasn’t easily accessible, I had to find little windfalls that weren’t already a part of my budget. Unaccounted for money. My “Stimulus” check, A friend paying back an old loan, Poker winnings. these windfalls went into the Credit Union account. The credit union savings is a separate bank from my regular checking and savings, so I’m less likely to dip into it on a whim.
