Never going to read all these books 11 months ago

I have been on a serious reading hiatus. Too busy, lack the focus, etc.

I’m not going to give up on this goal though. I think I’ll just try to make it thru half the list then move the other half over to 2009.

Most important one is probably How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. I think I am in SERIOUS need of that one!

Last year I think I only read 7 of my books. And five of those were read in December. The rest got deferred to this year.

How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk is awesome. My kids are VERY grateful that I read it.

(Actually, I’ve never finished reading the book, but I’ve reviewed the illustrations repeatedly. That seems to work better for me than reading a lot of words.)
