Got this as a goal but havent a clue what to invest in.

Would like to invest in a race horse but that is not possible – will try to think about this.

I think

its possible, but…not exactly the soundest of investments.
If you are young they say stocks, older they say bonds. I put it all in an IRA.

I agree the IRA sounds good.

Also, if your company offers some sort of matching plan, go with that. Also, I highly recommend investing in things you know about, and actually follow. It’s really hard to invest in ingots of you don’t really care for ingots, ditto rutabagas and camels. If you follow tech, invest in tech. If you shop at Target, perhaps you should consider investing there. It helps if you don’t have to keep up with things that really bore you.
