I’ve done my literature search… 200ish articles and 5 books that must be too thick to be legal.
My supervisor came back yesterday and she wants me to prep a thesis proposal draft and a research report on what type and kind of equipment we should be buying.
... BY MONDAY that’s like 3-4 days away???
I guess I don’t really need to socialize… sleep… or shower…

Wow! You really must understand operations very well to be asked for your input on equipment purchases.
Are you aiming for a Master’s degree relating to your work, or something else altogether?
I finished an MBA 2 years ago, when I was 52. It took me three years, but the time passed just as it would had I not gone back to school, and to be honest I have thought it would take longer. I learned a lot and met some great people.
It may be a challenge to have a serious job while attending classes. But the great thing about doing it part time at night is that everyone else had a serious job and it helped make them able to contribute their unique experiences and perspectives to class discussions.
Go for it :) Baby steps….
