Yes, I am in that stage with a new man right now, we have only just met, but so far, we get on very well, I know he likes me, likes me, that’s a good start. I like him a lot too, even better…little steps…..little steps.

i love the title of this goal. i need to remember sometimes in my own marriage that everything is reciprocal, and i love how you have focused on that in your wording.

Wish I could take credit

But have to thank urbN_c0caine for coming up with this title. It was the wording which made me want to join up with this goal too. I think we often forget it is important to receive love as well as give, To give without expecting anything back is important, but we can’t continue to be the sacrificial lambs when it comes to relationships.

We have to give to ourselves first what we want others to give us…unconditional love.

This really goes with what I've been thinking about

I’ve been stewing about that exact thought after finishing an old Harlequin romance of mine. You have to give and not worry about being hurt it seems or not show you’re hurt about it. I have a friend who I’ve cared about forever and he seems to dance in and out of of my life talking about love. Not sure if that’ll ever happen but it was good to see someone else thinking things that I think.
