what’s your favorite tv show theme song?
Usually it’s just whatever gets stuck in my head (like Cheers is now, damn you!).
I do have a particular fondness, however, for the themes from the Tandem Productions/T.A.T. Communications/Embassy Communications shows of the 70s (All in the Family, Maude, Good Times, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, One Day at a Time, Diff’rent Strokes, The Facts of Life, and Silver Spoons). And the theme from Benson is a catchy little breezy instrumental.
And in terms of drama, Law and Order and Doctor Who are the best.

from CSI new york, a show I’ve never watched a whole episode off, a few times my girlfriend watched but I’d read or something after the opening credits. Once when I was drunk I really annoyed her by getting out my my generation (best of the who?) CD and playing it at full noise!
